One of the little remembered legends of the Old West is the Battle of Lavender, a saga of fighting women chronicled in this two-part JMR cartoon series.
The small community only seems to come alive during the times when miners come down from the hills to unwind, either at Helen's saloon or at the new brothel in town, run by Lila, a competing business not welcomed by Helen or her girls. Just not enough coin or gold dust to divide in two...
The season comes to an end and the miners head back into the hills, but the Bar vs. Brothel feud continues to simmer, and after Helen's right hand gal fails to bully Lila into packing up her trade, the saloon queen issues the cathouse boss an invitation to meet her at her place for a discussion of the problem...
With Lavender now virtually deserted, the two women finally meet face to face and take the measure of each other, Lila a busty dark-haired toughie and Helen an even bustier redhead skilled with her fists. Stripping each other to the waist, Lila and Helen slug it out to settle matters, first back and forth inside the bar and then outside and into the mud caked street.
Wallowing, wrestling, writhing together in the deep muck, Lila and Helen fight and dunk each other until both are coated with mud from head to toe, but at last admitting that no winner has emerged. A grudging admiration for each other's fighting ability and a growing admiration each other's good looks and lush bodies first results in a friendly side by side shower to clean off.
And then, in Helen's private bedroom, the naked rivals succumb to their underlying lesbian attraction and make passionate love, having established a truce... But only a temporary one.
These two battling beauties of the Old West know that they are destined to fight again.
